Eating Organic – How do I feel

Since eating organically and eliminating sugar and processed foods including pasteurised dairy, I have experienced many changes in my body, more than just physical.

These include a large energy increase, the elimination of constant aches, pains and injury.  My chronic ‘symptoms’ and illness including bronchitis and sinusitis are non existent and I haven't taken antibiotics or pain killers in over four years, things i used to take on average every two months and would wreak havoc on my digestive system. My skin texture is softer and smoother.  My digestion and immune systems are now stronger and I have alot more energy.  This has all allowed me to start listening to my body and it will tell me what it needs.

When you look at the amount of pathogens, pollutants and pesticides that are compromising our children’s health today, environmentally and in food supply, it’s important for me to contribute in protecting our future generations’ health as well as my own by eating organic, unprocessed food.

While being concerned about our own health we also take into consideration the interconnectedness of our bodies with nature.  The health of animals, plants, soil, water and atmosphere has a direct impact on humans.  We are not immune to the effects of an unhealthy environment.

Traditional farming provides a sustainable food supply for our children and ahead.  The quality of food we eat affects our future.  If that food is polluted, we carry this in our bodies, some of it remains and is accumulated.  It is passed on between generations and I believe the increase in physical deformities, emotional and behavioural issues in children today cannot be ignored.  Our food is our energy source and our medicine; it has an immense impact on all of these factors.

The doubters of the benefits of eating real food tend to have associations with groups that gain financially if consumers don’t understand the benefits of eating organic unprocessed foods.

I think it’s important to do what makes you feel great.  Introducing organic food into your life, even in small amounts and steps is really going to have noticeable effects on your wellbeing.  The more whole and less processed and chemically treated we eat our food the more energy and vitality I believe we can feel and I strongly promote this because I know how great I feel without constant aches and pains.

Quick fixes such as medication, food supplements including protein powders and surgical procedures to fix a niggle and treat symptoms may provide some short term effect but the long term costs physically and financially are much greater, more time consuming and more painful than eating well and nourishing your body now. Doing so can prevent the cause of many issues occurring which lead to the necessity for these quick fixes.

Some put the reason to avoid going organic down to cost and time, and this is one reason why I have created an organic delivery service with lifestyle tips and references included.  It is an opportunity for my community to save time on shopping and decision making and enjoy fresh, great value produce and wholefoods that will nourish you for the week and enhance your vitality.  The information I provide will help you reduce spending on unnecessary items too.

It takes no time to put together a nourishing meal, its great fun, feels good and when you do the sums including take away meals, doctors bills, medications, food supplements and other less nourishing lifestyle choices you will realise that eating organic and caring for ourselves is quite a lot cheaper in the long run.
