How Much Are you Spending on "food" each day
Some say that organic food is too expensive, but in most cases there’s a way to fit nutritious, delicious, chemical free fresh produce into your life - especially when all you have to do is click through a website and it’s delivered to your door - even on a tight budget. You save at least an hour each week on the shopping so you can have that time for your work or play life. If you attempted Paul’s challenge last week, you would’ve felt the difference in one day from consuming fresh unprocessed wholefoods, the energy and vitality you feel, as opposed to opting for processed food and sugar laden drinks. Well I can tell you there is countless more benefits from eating your wholefoods organically as it avoids the routine use of toxic chemicals used in commercial farming to mass produce crops and enter your body, and as importantly does not trash the environment, polluting our air, water and food supply.
For a point of comparison, let's look at the average spending of many people working full time jobs with long contact hours in offices. I know all about this situation because I lived it myself for many years, and in my desk job days I must say I was not terribly conscious of my food choices and was easily influenced by the people around me who were eating like this each day. I know this scenario is unlikely to occur every day for 5 days in a week, but even just one or two days really adds up... and how do you feel after the overload of processed foods? Which option would you prefer for your wellbeing?
If you’re thinking to yourself, "But it takes so much time to prepare a meal," my response is, that if your health is your priority, then that extra 15 minutes per day, or spending some time on the weekend preparing a few meals will be so rewarding to your health that you won't mind the task. You’ll be more productive and feel happier throughout the day with more healthful ingredients in the body to affect your mood and energy levels. Why not hop up off the couch during the ad breaks, prepare something while you’re on the phone, or whip up your lunch while you're making dinner the night before? There’s always time to be healthy if you make time. Chop up a veg or two, pop a handful of greens into a bowl, dress it with some olive oil and some herbs, toss in a handful of sprouts or cooked quinoa. Easy. Most of our foods you don’t have to do much more preparation simply than picking it up and eating it.
These contents below are one example of the ingredients in these small boxes, recommended for one person on average (I would probably go through at least a Vitality box on my own as we eat at home most meals). Some couples buy the Energy Box and some enjoy the Family Feast. It depends on your eating requirements and everyone is different, we can make a suggestion to which size would suit your needs. The content variety and quantity in the boxes vary each week, so each box never looks the same and some customers receive different items depending on their likes and dislikes. Have a look at how you can fit organic food in the budget and take away some of the other less desirable, less economical and low-nutrition processed foods from your diet.

It is important to reduce the massive amount of chemicals that children are subjected to in the commercial food supply and providing organically grown food and cutting out the processed stuff is the perfect way. Another great idea is to get your hands dirty and get planting with the kids! Now is a good time, I look forward to starting my own patch in the coming weeks. Will keep you updated!
