Why Organic

Better for You

Compared to conventional food, there are numerous research studies to show that organic food contains higher levels of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and enzymes.

Better Taste

Organic food tastes great. There are more nutrients in the soil and organic produce is grown only in season and much slower than non-organic produce, allowing the flavours to develop naturally.

Chemical Free

Organic food is free of chemicals, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. Many studies show that most conventionally farmed foods have pesticide and other chemical residues. Over 400 chemical pesticides are routinely used in conventional farming and residues are often present in non-organic food. Research has shown that 30 percent of insecticides, 60 percent of herbicides and 90 percent of fungicides are known to cause cancer. These chemicals can also lead to nervous and endocrine problems.

Healthy Children

Kids are more vulnerable to the toxins from pesticides than adults due to their lower body mass and large intake of food per kilogram. During their development stages, it is crucial to nourish our kids with healthy and chemical free food for vitality and strong immunity.

Animal Welfare

Organic farming practices allow animals to live in humane healthy conditions, not confined, caged or mutilated. They live healthier, more productive and longer lives, free of stress and routine hormonal or antibiotic treatment that is common in non-organic practice.

Environment

Organic farming uses sustainable methods promoting biodiversity and maintaining soil health for future generations. The methods used in mass conventional farming enhance soil erosion. The chemicals used place a huge burden on water quality, air quality, soil health and plant life all affecting the wellbeing of human life.

Eat organically today and know that your food is fresh, great tasting, healthier for you, healthier for your children's future, chemical free, and kind to animals and the environment.
